When I begin to make money blogging I thought that what I should do is creating a blog that has thousands of visitors a day. But now I found that it is so difficult. Maybe the best way is to create many blogs when bloggers want to make money blogging. In this article, we will discuss why creating many blogs is better than only own a blog.

Many bloggers have a dream that they will be the next johnchow.com. I too once dreamed of having an influential blog on which I could promote various products (all good ones) and make money by sharing information on the topic that I enjoy writing about: blogging.

Unfortunately, I could never make that plan a reality. If you are able to make a lot of money from a single blog, I applaud you. However, for most people, it seems to me that is unlikely that they will ever reach their goal. Instead I recommend that you do the opposite.

Here are my top three recommendations for making money by owning blogs.

1. Write about boring topics

You would be shocked how many people write make money blogging blogs. Make money blogging  is an interesting topic and everyone who makes money online has an opinion about how to do. Unfortunately, it is a very crowded niche. I have had more success by building smaller blogs talking about subjects that are far less interesting. For instance, my best performing blog is about gluten free living — a topic that, for me, is fairly uninteresting. But, I have found that there are a lot less competing blogs in the gluten niche.

2. Own at least 50 blogs

The more blogs that you own, the more bait you can throw into the ocean. By having many blogs you can try to build each up to the point where it is making $1 – $20 a day. This is much more easily achievable than building one super blog and expecting it to the same.

3. Use Google AdSense

If you have a niche blog that provides useful information you can attract targeted traffic from the search engines. With this traffic you find people that are searching for the solution to a problem and, since they are actively looking for information on your topic, they will be more likely to click through to an advertisers site. Let the advertiser try to further monetize the traffic by selling a product or service. You simply act as a middle man between the search engine and advertiser and provide the client with traffic.

I have found that people are far more willing to click a link than they are to take their pocketbook out and buy a product. If you are using AdSense, you leave the converting up to a professional and you have the added bonus of not having to directly hawk crap.

In summation, those are my top three tips to earning money with blogs. I believe that if a person is dedicated and willing to put in the time, anyone can earn a four figure income every month from their blogging activities.
